富士/Fuji Mountain

古来より信仰の対象でもあった富士山。この山を描く前に、南アルプスや北アルプスの常念岳、白馬三山、穂高、や甲斐駒ヶ岳、八ヶ岳、妙義山、浅間山、谷川岳、戸隠など多くの山々を描き、そして、富士山に実際に登ってから、富士山を描き始めた。季節や見る角度、時間帯などで様々な表情を見せてくれて、その魅力は尽きることがない。
Mount Fuji has been an object of worship since ancient times. Before painting this mountain, I painted many other mountains, including Mount Jonen in the Southern and Northern Alps, the Hakuba Sanzan, Hotaka, Kaikoma-ga-take, Yatsugatake, Mount Myogi, Mount Asama, Mount Tanigawa, and Togakushi. I then began painting Mount Fuji after actually climbing it. It shows different expressions depending on the season, the angle from which you view it, and the time of day, and its charm is endless.
